Hervey Bay’s Seafood Festival is on Sunday the 11th August 2019. The festival is part of the Fraser Coast OCEANS festival, featuring a range of local fresh Seafood.

Located in Fishermans Park, Urangan – which is just a 3 minute stroll from Whale Cove Apartments. So no need to worry about finding a park and you can beat the busy line up. $5 entry fee does apply – under 18’s are FREE.

Enjoy the flavours of the sea with a tantalising range of seafood dishes. Served from some of the best restaurants. As well as from the fishermen’s own stall, for that unique fisherman to plate experience.

Why not try it all with a booking at the Taste of the Bay luncheon tent. A spectacular 6 course long lunch. Featuring the hero wild catch seafood and matching Sirromet wines. Presented by leading Queensland Chefs Andrew Mirosch and Victor Marmysz, Urangan State High Hospitality students and Sirromet Wine. Bookings are essential.

They have everyone covered with the Drinks as well. With both boutique wineries, craft beers and non- alcoholic beverages.

Seafood lovers can meet the local men of the sea at the oceans of entertainment stage with a program filled with cooking demonstrations and tales of the sea. As well as displays featuring the environment, fishing, fine foods and more.
